Sosyal faydayı odağına alan ve dünyada başarılı bir model olarak gösterilen İtalya merkezli FairBnB.coop, IDEMA, İhtiyaç Haritası ve INOGAR’ın öncülüğünde kooperatif dayanışma ruhuna uygun olarak global bir model oluşturmak üzere devralındı. Bu adım, sosyal ekonomi yatırımcılarının desteği ve sürdürülebilir turizm vizyonuyla, birçok ülkede adil ve sürdürülebilir turizm modellerinin yaygınlaşmasına katkı sağlamayı amaçlıyor.

Avrupa, Birleşik Krallık ve Türkiye başta olmak üzere birçok ülkenin sosyal girişimcilik ekosistemine güç katan bu adımın aynı zamanda adil ve sürdürülebilir turizm modellerinin yaygınlaşmasına da katkı sağlaması planlanıyor.

Konaklama ve tatil deneyimleri platformlarına yenilikçi bir alternatif sunan FairBnB.coop ve FairUp, turizm gelirlerinin daha adil dağıtılmasını ve yerel ekonomilerin güçlendirilmesini amaçlıyor. Platform, bireysel, kamusal ve sivil paydaşları bir araya getirerek sürdürülebilir ve topluluk dostu seyahat deneyimleri yaratırken, ev sahipleri ile misafirler arasındaki bağları da kuvvetlendiriyor.

FairBnB Kooperatifi’nin üyesi Dr. Ali Ercan Özgür ve Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi Mert Fırat, platformun dayanışmayı destekleyen bir bakış açısıyla yönetildiğini, halihazırda içinde bulundukları yapıyı devralarak desteklemekten memnun olduklarını belirttiler. Fairbnb’nin yeni sürecinde temel hedefleri arasında sürdürülebilir turizmi teşvik eden global bir yapı olarak daha da güçleneceği ve topluluk temelli projelere kaynakları yaygınlaştırarak turizm sektöründe adil bir dönüşüm yaratmayı hedeflediklerini vurguladılar. 

FairBnB.coop’un Türkiye’ye kazandırılmasının önemine vurgu yapan İhtiyaç Haritası ve INOGAR ve IDEMA Kurucu Ortağı Dr. Ali Ercan Özgür, şunları ifade etti:
