Children Participated in Volleyball Tournament with Team Paribu and Needs Map
March 5, 2025
Children living in Hatay Container Living Area of Needs Map came together in a volleyball tournament.
Students who have been practicing sports for more than a year under the guidance of coaches at the Team Paribu sports field built in the Needs Map living area participated in the tournament on February 24-26.
In the tournament held at TOKİ Indoor Sports Hall, the children shared team spirit and experienced solidarity in addition to improving their sports techniques.

We came together for children’s rights
March 3, 2025
We participated in the “Workshop on Child Rights-Based and Child-Sensitive Approaches in Promoting Children’s Rights” organized by UNICEF Turkey as part of the “Accountability for Children, Advocacy for Rights” project.
Our co-founders Dr. Ali Ercan Özgür and Mert Fırat participated in the workshop as panelists. We focused on child rights monitoring, evidence-based advocacy, child participation and cooperation with municipalities.
We came together with municipal representatives, NGOs, youth and national/international organizations from Istanbul and its surroundings to assess the current situation in developing child-friendly policies.
We took over FairBnB.coop as IDEMA, Needs Map and INOGAR

As IDEMA, Needs Map and INOGAR, we took over the Italian based FairBnB.coop, which is focused on social benefit and is shown as a successful model in the world, with the spirit of solidarity!
FairBnB.coop aims to contribute to the spread of fair and sustainable tourism models in many countries, especially in Europe, UK and Turkey, with the support of social economy investors and sustainable tourism vision.

The 9th İbrahim Bodur Social Entrepreneurship Program Awards Selection Committee included Dr. Ali Ercan Özgür, co-founder of Needs Map.
Dr. Ali Ercan Özgür stated that the creative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit of young people play a crucial role in social and economic transformation.
We Visited the EU Presidency
March 6, 2025
With the participation of our co-founders Dr. Ali Ercan Özgür and Mert Fırat and UNDP Resident Representative Monica Merino, we visited the Directorate for EU Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. We had a productive meeting with Bülent Özcan, Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation, and his team on our projects.
Food Hub to open at London Climate Action Week
March 24, 2025
London Climate Action Week will host a Food Hub for the first time at LCAW, in partnership with the Urban Farmer Project and Fleet Street Quarter.
The Food Hub at the Urban Farmer Project will host a series of talks, workshops and panels throughout LCAW 2025, as well as monthly mixers and networking events.
“Bebelac Sibling Share” Project is in its 5th Year
March 29, 2025
Now in its 5th year, the “Bebelac Sibling Share” project, initiated by Bebelac Child Follow-On Milks in partnership with Needs Map, continues to provide follow-on milk to vulnerable families with babies aged 1-3.
Bebelac Child Follow-On Milk, which for many years has focused on accompanying babies and parents with its experience in the field of infant nutrition, has completed the 5th year of the “Sibling Share” project, which was launched in collaboration with Needs Map, an online platform that brings together people in need and people and organizations that want to help.
FLO Volunteers and Needs Map Join Forces for Solidarity
March 31, 2025
FLO and Needs Map joined forces last Eid. FLO Volunteers and Needs Map have delivered festive shoes to children in Hatay.
This collaboration with FLO Volunteers and Needs Map teams will continue in Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep, Adana, Bursa and Antalya to deliver new shoes to a total of 12 thousand children.
